Easy Pay® is a safe, automated installation-billing offer that allows you to split the total value of a purchase into interest-free monthly payments. On the day your item ships, you can expect your first payment to be billed to your credit card. The balance owing will be charged in equal payments in 30-day intervals after the date of the purchaser to the same card.
Ever wondered why a particular item has specific number of Easy Pays®? Well, there are three ways in which that can be calculated: it can be based on item offer, total order value or a special offer.
Item Offer Easy Pay®
Certain items are assigned an amount of Easy Pays® to ensure we bring you the best value to secure your item immediately, such as a hot new item, or a big-ticket purchase. The maximum number of Easy Pays® are noted just below the price of any item on the TSC website.
Total Order Value Easy Pay®
If an individual item doesn’t qualify for Easy Pay®, not to worry—perhaps your total order value can. The Easy Pay® total order value tier is as follows:
- $0.00 to $88.99 – 2 payments
- $89.00 to $299.99 – 4 payments
- $300.00+ – 6 payments
Special Offer Easy Pay®
We often create special payment offers that may span a particular product category or campaign, for example, a certain number of payments for beauty items or for Mother’s Day gifts. When we have promotional Easy Pay® offers, you’ll find them noted on our homepage at TSC.ca.
Managing Easy Pays®
You can control which payment plan works best for you. If your order qualifies for five Easy Pays®, you have the option to set up billing for one, two, three, four or five payments. To see your Easy Pay® balance, you can log in to your account online via the homepage and view “Upcoming Payments” under “My Easy Pay® Schedule.” If you return an item that was purchased on Easy Pay® with pending installments, the future installments will be cancelled and the amount paid is refunded to your credit card, less shipping and handling, once we receive your return.
